Good Samaritan Comes to Aid of Stricken Lake Saint Louis Motorist
Seth Jaycox was traveling westbound on I-64 when the incident occurred.
Seth L. Jaycox, 32, of Lake Saint Louis was driving westbound on I-64 at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday when he suffered a medical condition, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported. Jaycox was just east of Research Park Circle.
A passenger in the car tried to steer the vehicle toward the concrete median barrier in an attempt to stop it.
Gary M. Wheeler, 38, of Jefferson City, was also westbound on I-64. He saw what was going on and pulled his Ford pickup in front of Jaycox's Chrysler and braked until both vehicles came to a stop.

No one was injured in the incident, but Jaycox was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
