Highway 94 to Close Tonight

Construction will last for three nights.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., have confirmed the closure of Route 94 at Mid Rivers Mall Drive at 9 p.m. nightly Monday through Wednesday to place girders for the new Mid Rivers Mall Drive bridge, weather permitting.

All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.

Only one direction will be closed at a time. Drivers can use Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Central School Road and Kisker Road to detour around the closures.

Once crews have finished placing girders on the eastbound bridge, sometime around midnight, they will reopen westbound Route 94 and close eastbound Route 94.

Crews will close eastbound Route 94 at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents who live off Pitman Hill Drive will be able to access westbound Route 94 at all times, and will need to use the detour when eastbound Route 94 is closed. Residents who live off Roberts Ridge will be able to access eastbound Route 94 at all times.

This is part of a $25.5 million project to extend Route 364 from west of Central School Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles County.

Crews will also construct bridges at Kisker Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive over the new route. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
