Last Chance: Debit Card Design Contest, Intern Application, Park Memorial Bricks

Vantage Credit Union Debit Card Design Contest: Deadline March 30

is challenging 18-to-25-year-olds to design a new debit card for the credit union's "Young & Free" account.

Applicants may submit an original debit card design for the credit union's Not Your Mama's Account. The winning debit card designer will take home a cash prize of $500 and will have the opportunity to have their concept produced and used by Vantage Credit Union. There will be a second prize of $200 and a third prize of $100.

The deadline to submit a design online is March 30. The public will vote April 5-12. All voters will be registered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.

Applications for Marketing Intern: Deadline March 30

The is offering a paid internship for 11 weeks beginning May 29, 2012. The intern will create and develop a marketing plan for Wentzville's grant "Dry Branch  Watershed: Clear Stormwater and Green Parks." The position pays $10 per hour.

The city is looking for someone who has or is pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, graphic design or other releated field.

Order Commemorative Pavers for Boulevard Park: Deadline March 31

Up to three lines of text can be engraved onto a brick which will be placed in Amphitheater pathway. Each line on the brick can have up to 15 characters (including blanks and punctuation).

Brick donations are $75 each or two for $100.  Orders accepted beore March 31st will be installed in early May. (Orders accepted between April 1st and August 31st will be installed early in October.)
