MLK Day 'March of Unity' Is First for Wentzville
Wentzville's first-ever March of Unity was the kick-off event for the city's Martin Luther King Day observances.
The participants of Wentzville's first March of Unity braved freezing temperatures and a cold, biting wind Monday morning as they walked along Pearce Boulevard.
The event was the only one of its kind in St. Charles County.
The march was the kick-off to the city's observance of Martin Luther King Day. Evening events included a keynote speaker, music and refreshments at Holt Hight School.
