First story posted this morning was the announcement that to take . Larry was confirmed at a special 5:30 p.m. meeting before the usual work session so that he could jump right in and take his place.

It was an interesting meeting last night. I would urge all residents to come out some time and watch their city leaders at work. Meetings are generally the first and third Mondays of each month.

Tuesday means gardening advice from Peggy Bahrmasel. I always look forward to these, no matter how jealous they make me of other people's talent. Despite the torrents of rain we got on Saturday, my lawn is looking pretty pathetic and withered. (My lone tomato plant is, however, thriving—if something would just stop pulling the blooms off!)
