The Second Cup: July 1 Edition

You're had your first cup of coffee; now relax with the second one and find out what's up for the day.

Good morning, Lake Saint Louis.

Patch sponsored yesterday's St. Charles Municipal League meeting at the Community Association Clubhouse. I attended with my boss, Regional Editor Holly Edgell, and we both had a great time. It really made me proud of Lake Saint Louis to see so many of our aldermen in attendance, as well as Assistant City Administrator Eric Sterman. We got to meet people from our other St. Charles County Patch city, but also from St. Paul, West Alton, Dardenne Prairie and Weldon Spring.

And the food was excellent, too!

Another busy day is in the works. We'll be putting up the police blotter and House Hunt today, and you may have already seen this morning's Viewfinder of the .

I'll be putting together my last PatchCast -- but if you're a PatchCast fan, don't worry, it's not going anywhere. It will just be produced by another member of our fine St. Louis area editorial staff, Candace Jarrett of Hazelwood Patch.

I hope to have time to run out and get my copy of The Light Bringer and run over to Donatelli's at noon to get it signed by Chief Mike Force and Assistant Chief Chris Digiuseppi. ?
