Good morning, Lake Saint Louis!

I started to call this the "dog days of summer" when I realized that I didn't know exactly when that meant. Turns out it just means the hottest and sultriest days of summer, which is definitely what it's been lately. According to Wikipedia, the name is derived from an old belief that the dog star, Sirius, rose and set with the sun and affected the weather at this time of year.

Last Monday we   Starting today, you'll be seeing it every Monday. It's a tough job market out there, and hopefully we can hook a few people up with a lead or two.

Do you read I love Dan Barger's sense of humor. Sometimes I find myself being a little disappointed that Lake Saint Louis doesn't have a lot to contribute, but then I catch myself—it's a good thing! Maybe that's why I do enjoy it.
