Chief Mike Force and Assistant Chief Chris Digiuseppi spoke to a packed room at Corporate Parkway Branch Library last night. The authors of The Light Bringer talked about their collaboration, answered questions and signed books—a lot of books, from the looks of it. We'll have a slide show from the event later today.

I'm hoping the heat breaks just a little this evening. I've been looking forward to the concert of Beatles music at The Meadows, but part of me is thinking that it might be more comfortable to stay in the air conditioning and watch A Hard Day's Night on DVD.
