Have I ever told you how much I appreciate my freelance writers? They produce some great content for this site. They are dependable and hard-working. And ones like Michelle Blodget will try things that I would never do in a hundred million years. Like cooking and eating squid.

I'm one of the people she's talking about in—the ones who think they hate squid even though they've never tried it. Generally, I like fish. Nice, plain overcooked whitefish. And I adore crab and shrimp. But don't serve me things with tentacles.
