Good morning, Lake Saint Louis!

How was your holiday weekend?

I had a great tiime covering the Water Ski Club's show on Monday. They do an remarkable job putting their show together, and you can tell everyone has done a lot of practice and preparation. I've got a lot of video and pictures to upload—look for an article later today.

My daughter and I attended the fireworks show last night. If you read the article Rachel Heaton posted about Patch editors' Fourth of July memories, you'll know why this was special for me. Lake Saint Louis, we've got an event there that's so unique to the area. Everyone in the city can be proud. And if you enjoyed the fireworks show, don't forget to chip in for next year's event on the Ambassadors website.

Tonight is the board of aldermen meeting that would have normally been held last night. I'll be posted an agenda today.
