Lake Saint Louis has some great Independence Day activities in the Water Ski Show and the fireworks. At the board meeting last night, one of the aldermen brought up the question of a Fourth of July parade. I think the general agreement was that it was a lot of work. Here's my idea for you: simplify it a bit by making it a bike parade. Decorate everything from trikes to ten-speeds and keep the route short. I remember the bike parade from my home town in Illinois, and we used to have a blast.
