Whew! It was a hot one out there yesterday. I checked the Fox 2 online forecast, and it looks like we've got more of it coming—96 degrees on Monday.
I posted some show earlier this morning. This is a great opportunity for photographers, lots of action and color. Even my little Sony point-and-shoot got some great shots.

Today in history, courtesy of History.com: In 1930, work began on the Hoover Dam. The dam would help alleviate flooding from the Colorado River, provide water for irrigation and supply power for more than a million people.
