The Week in Review: Slyman Resigns, More Storm Damage

The same day, the new issue of Midrivers News Magazine talked about Slyman's opinions about the hard-liquor ordinance. On Friday, Suburban Journals carried a story with Slyman's reasons for his resignation and his disappointment with the board  for passing the ordinance.

Hometown Blog carried several announcements from Lake Saint Louis businesses and schools this past week. One such announcement was that National Information Solutions Cooperative of Lake Saint Louis was named fifteenth on the list of the 100 best workplaces for IT professionals in the United States by Computerworld magazine. Hometown Blog also talked about Katee's Butterfly Festival, scheduled for Aug. 27 at Boulevard Park.
