A Lake Saint Louis resident, Brandon D. Murray, was charged with the June 12 burglary at the Hook-up on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. A story posted by stltoday.com reported that $11,000 of synthetic marijuana labeled as incense was stolen.

A 17-year-old Lake Saint Louis man was charged with felony property damage for painting on the roadway at the intersection of Highway 94 and Highway D. The Suburban Journals reported on the arrest by St. Charles Police on July 20.

Barat Academy students, locked out of their Dardenne Prairie campus, held a prayer vigil and a rally. Stltoday.com reported on the rally, which was held on July 21.

The Hometown Blog reported Friday about Representative Chuck Gatschenberger's Youth Sports Brain Injury Prevention Act, which passed with overwhelming approval in the Missouri House and Senate.
