Hotshots Looking to Open Wentzville Location

  • Hotshots, the popular sports bar and grill, is looking to open a new location in Wentzville. Representatives for the sports bar were in front of the Wentzville Planning and Zoning Commission Thursday night. If approved—Hotshots would have to get final approval from the city's board of aldermen—it would move into a location on the west side of Highway Z, just north of Wentzville Bluffs Drive.

Wentzville's Special Events: 'How Much Do We Want to Spend on Parties?'

  • At Wednesday's Wentzville Board of Aldermenwork session, the board continued a discussion first brought up at the Feb. 6 meeting: the future of the city's special events. Alderman Cheryl Kross asked, "Why couldn’t we get a private nonprofit to spearhead an event?" She suggested that such a group could organize, establish committees and recruit volunteers, rather than have the city's parks department providing all the work force and labor.

Foristell Man Indicted For Performing Sex Act on Sleeping Wentzville Victim

  • A Foristell man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury after being accused of performing a sex act on a sleeping man. Nathaniel Dickherber, 23, of the 10200 block of Forest Trails in Foristell, is charged with deviate sexual assault.

Man With Revoked License Crashes Truck Through Kitchen in Lake Saint Louis

  • Kevin Vincent Gore, 29, of Lake Saint Louis, crashed his Dodge pickup through the kitchen and dining area of a home on Rue Grand in Lake Saint Louis at 3:09 a.m. on Saturday. Lake Saint Louis Police determined Gore had an active warrant for a drug-related charge out of St. Charles County. Gore also had a revoked drivers’ license, prior alcohol-related convictions and an interlock ignition device attached to his truck. Police believe he may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Holt Wins Mid-States' Wick Cup Championship Over Duchesne

  • It’s been an up and down season for theWentzville Holt High School hockey team, but the Indians made it count late in the season and rode a hot streak all the way to their second Wickenheiser Cup championship in three years. Sophomore sensation Corbin Foppe scored the game-winning goal with just 49.5 seconds remaining in the game. Foppe's second goal of the game broke a 3-3 tie that had stood since 10 seconds into the second period.
