Wentzville Man Dead After 12-Story Fall in Dallas Hotel

The deceased, Craig Berry, was staying at the hotel for a business conference.

A Wentzville man died after a 12-story fall at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dallas Wednesday morning, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Craig McKinnon Berry, 37, was staying at the hotel for a business conference when his body was found by a security guard at about 2 a.m. in the atrium lobby after an employee reported hearing a loud thud.

The incident is being treated as an unexplained death, and foul play is not suspected.

According to the Dallas Morning News, police are continuing to conduct interviews and that the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office could have a cause of death determination this afternoon.
