Open House Meeting at City Hall on March 12, 5 p.m.
Meeting to educate residents about issues on the April 3, 2012 ballot.
I have received many inquiries about what issues will be on the ballot on April 3, 2012 for Lake Saint Louis voters to consider.
In addition to election of Aldermen, the sales tax initiative and the sewer and waterline insurance will be on the ballot. These are issues that most residents are not clear about yet based on the questions I have received. That is why it is important that residents attend if they have questions about these issues.
The sales tax is a stormwater/parks sales tax increase. The sewer lateral/water line insurance will be an increase to your property tax on an annual basis. There are many nuances to these issues that will be presented by city staff. Elected officials should be in attendance also if you have questions for them.

If you are in Ward 3, I will be there for sure if you need to discuss these or any other issues. Just a reminder, I have held 2 open forums to present these issues to Ward 3 residents in January and February. I will have a third meeting for Ward 3 residents on March 26th at 6:00pm.
