Farms and land still on the rise!

According to a report published by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Farm and Land values have continued to rise through Q2 2013. The report was based upon a survey of 48 agricultural banks located within the St. Louis Fed region. According to the report quality farm and land prices averaged $5,672 per acre in the region. This is up 20% from the same time last year and up 11% from the previous quarter. Ranch and pastureland were up but not nearly as much at 4% from a year ago and 1% from the previous quarter.
