Family: Married for over 38 years to Sue, we have 3 daughters and 2 grandsons.

Education: Some college courses in business, achieved my CMFC designation in 2008
Occupation: I have been in the financial services field for over 35 years and have been a financial advisor for the past 11 years.
Previous elected offices: 1987 to 1992, Wentzville Alderman Ward 2; 1992 to 1996, Wentzville Mayor; 2002 to 2006, Wentzville Alderman Ward 3; 2004 to 2006, Wentzville Committeeman for Central Committee.
Applicable experience: I believe my (14) Fourteen years of Municipal elective service have provided me a unique perspective from which I may be of help.

Organizations: I am currently a member of Wentzville Rotary Club, Wentzville Chamber of Commerce, Wentzville Downtown Business Association, Knights of Columbus, (3rd Degree), former president of the Life Underwriters Association of St. Charles County, current member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA)

CANDIDATE QUESTIONS
1. What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

    The primary reason I am running is to restore the influence of the residents in matters related to financial decisions made on their behalf.
2. What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

I would immediately initiate a review of each department budget and work to eliminate wasteful spending.

3. What sets you apart from the other candidates?

My past experience of being Mayor of the city of Wentzville is unmatched by anyone else seeking this position.  I am also the only candidate who has the experience of actually  running their own business.  

4. How long have you lived in Wentzville?

My wife and I have lived in the city of Wentzville for over 36 Years.

5. What's your favorite thing about Wentzville?

I love meeting the new residents of Wentzville and listening to their experiences.

I also enjoy the benefits of service to the Wentzville community, through the church we attend and the many civic organizations I belong to.

6. What is the biggest problem in Wentzville?

Wentzville is a growing city and we must be vigilant in seeking to expand our vision of the future and not become complacent.

7. What is your vision for Wentzville?

I have a vision of Wentzville as a community where individuals and families can live a life that contains all of the elements of activity and accomplishments that they desire, and offers a diverse economic environment to sustain these desires.
