Facebook Fan Poll: Is a New Trail System a Good Use of Taxpayer Money?

Get involved with Wentzville Patch by answering our question of the day on the site and on our Facebook page!

Welcome to our newest feature—our daily Facebook Fan Poll. It's taking the place of The Daily Dose.

At Wentzville Patch, we value our readers opinion very much—sometimes even more than our own. To that extent, we will now be posting a new Facebook Fan Poll every day here on the site, and on our Facebook page, which you can access by CLICKING HERE

We'll have options to vote for on our Facebook page, much like any reader poll you see with other news outlets. But on the site, you'll be able to expand on your answer—go a bit more in-depth by telling us why you answered the way you did.

Regardless, this feature is designed to get you involved in as many different ways as we can. So if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this feature, let us know by dropping us an email at brianf@patch.com.

Dear Karla. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I know when we went through something similar withRead More our cat, who had been with my wife for 19 years, it was like we'd been hit by a truck. I didn't expect to be affected as much as I was. Sorry this isn't a doggie memory...we're cat people, but the feeling is the same.

Thanks, Kurt - I really appreciate your post. Thankfully, I still have 3 cats and another dog atRead More home to help ease the pain. I agree with what what you said about being hit by a truck. I, too, didn't expect to be affected as much as I was - especially since I knew she was "elderly" for a dog. :)
