Friday Food Critic: Los Cabos Closed, Where Do You Go for Great Mexican Food?

We nominate a restaurant. You review it. That's right, you're the local expert—and we want to hear what you think.

UPDATE: Los Cabos is closed? We missed it! Please help us out - where do you go for great Mexican food? Tell us in the comments!

When it comes to restaurants, Wentzville has it covered.

We have some great local places that many would consider community gems; we have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop but are unique to the area; and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not.

That's where you come in. It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we have The Friday Food Critic column, where we put our local eateries on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week's restaurant is Los Cabos. Los Cabos is located just outside of Wentzville off Highway Z. The second of three Los Cabos restaurants opened, it offers Mexican cuisine in two dining areas, one with a bar. Los Cabos has an extensive menu of dishes including enchiladas, fajitas, pescadillas, nachos, burritos and flautas. There are also grilled chicken and grilled shrimp salads for those not feeling like Mexican that day.

To add your review of Los Cabos, simply click on their name, anywhere in this story. You'll be directed toward their community listing in our directory, where you can rate them on a five-star system or write a personal review.

At Patch, we believe your words of wisdom are better than any food critic.

What are you waiting for? Let the reviewing begin!
