"Due to a diligent effort by responding officers, the vehicle was located as it was westbound on Perry Cate Boulevard going towards Hwy Z. Officers initiated a stop on the car and found it occupied by the driver and sole occupant, Austin M. Johnston, 17, of the 200 block of Oak Ridge Lane, Lake St. Louis," Major Paul West reported in a press release.

The investigation, subsequent to the stop, led to the recovery of property taken from the residence with a value of approximately $4,000, along with a quantity of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
