Dardenne Prairie Man Sentenced for Child Pornography Possession

Man who pleaded guilty in September is sentenced to 51 months in prison.

A Dardenne Prairie man was sentenced Wednesday to 51 months in prison, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

John R. Steiner, 44, pleaded guilty in September to possession of child pornography between June 2008 and November 2009. He appeared Wednesday for sentencing before U.S. District Judge Henry Autrey.

This case was investigated by Donya Jackson, an investigator with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the St. Charles County Cybercrime Unit. Assistant U.S. Attorney Rob Livergood handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
