Drug Task Force: Teen Sold Prescription Meds to Undercover Officer

Detectives said the Lake Saint Louis resident sold the officer Vyvanse on two occasions.

A Lake Saint Louis teenager was charged Friday with selling prescription medication to an undercover officer.

Bryce Atkinson, 17, of the first block of St. Malo Court in , faces two charges of selling Vyvanse, a controlled substance typically prescribed to control Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

A report reads that Atkinson sold Vyvanse to an undercover officer twice, once on July 16 and again on July 19 at 11400 South Service Road in Lake Saint Louis. On each occasion, the officer paid Atkinson $40 for the medication, according to the report.

St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies pulled Atkinson over after the second transaction and found he had the Drug Task Force funds.

Atkinson is being held in St. Charles County Jail in lieu of a $30,000, cash-only bond.
