Details Emerge About Wentzville Man's Fatal 12-Story Fall in Dallas

Craig Berry, who died Wednesday after a 12-story fall that police said was an attempt on his own life, was president of the Wentzville Holt Junior Wrestling Club.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Officer has ruled Craig Berry’s death a suicide, a Dallas-area news outlet reports.

Berry died after a 12-story fall at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dallas Wednesday morning.

Berry was staying at the hotel for a business conference when his body was found by a security guard at about 2 a.m. in the atrium lobby after an employee reported hearing a loud thud.

Initially, police treated incident is being treated as an unexplained death, and foul play is not suspected.

The Dallas Police Department’s public information office says detectives have offered no further updates, the Pegasus News report said.

Berry was a coach and served as president of the Wentzville Holt Junior Wrestling Club, a club not affiliated with the Wentzville School District but does use the Holt High School name.
