Father and Son From Wentzville Seriously Injured in Barry County Crash

The eight-year-old was injured by a motorcycle being hauled in the back of the pickup.

Jeremy W. Foltz, 34, and his son Jaxon R. Foltz, 8, both of Wentzville, were seriously injured in a crash Saturday in Cassville, MO.

A 2013 Toyota Tundra being driven by Kyle M. Foltz, 32, of Cassville, was traveling eastbound on M112 south of Cassville around 8:20 a.m. Saturday when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. 

Jaxon R. Foltz, Foltz's nephew, was in the rear passenger seat. He was injured when he was struck by a motorcycle that was being hauled in the bed of the truck. 

Jeremy W. Foltz, the boy's father, who was also a passenger in the truck, was seriously injured in the crash, as was the driver. 

Jaxon Foltz and Jeremy Foltz were airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Kyle Foltz was taken by amublance to Cox South Hospital.
