Five Car Accident Monday on Highway 94

Wentzville, O'Fallon and St. Charles residents involved in crash.

Five people were injured Monday in a five-vehicle accident on Highway 94. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 3:30 p.m.

All five cars were traveling eastbound on Highway 94.

A report states the accident began when the front of a 2010 Mitsubishi EF-145, driven by Chad M. Dagley, 37, St. Charles struck the rear of a 2005 Hummer, driven by Brian S. Bauer, 39, O'Fallon, creating a chain reaction.

The Hummer struck a Kia Sorento, driven by Nichole L. Bauer, 31, , who struck a 2005 Hyundai Elantra driven by Michele M. Thomas, 43, St. Louis, which hit a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Sara M. Foshee, 29, St. Charles.

All five cars were damaged, but only one driver was injured. Dagley sustained minor injuries. He was taken to St. Joseph East by St. Charles County Ambulance.

According to the report, Nichole Bauer was the only driver not wearing a seat belt. The report also said Bauer left the scene of the crash.
