O'Fallon Woman Charged With Statutory Rape of Timberland Student

Victoria Reinke, an instructional assistant at Timberland, was placed on administrative leave and subsequently resigned from the district.

Victoria Marie Reinke, 30, of the 600 block of Aster Lane in O'Fallon, has been charged with 3 felony counts of statutory rape and sexual contact with a student by a teacher, student teacher, employee, contract employee, school official or volunteer.

Reinke's bond was set at $20,000, cash only. She was not incarcerated, but a condition of her bond was that she have no contact with the victim.

A press release issued by the late Friday said that Reinke had been an instructional assistant at , and that the incidents involved just one student and did not happen at school. Reinke did come into contact with students from the district said.

The district press release stated

As soon as the Wentzville School District learned about the allegations of misconduct, Mrs. Reinke was immediately placed on unpaid leave and the District reported the matter to local law enforcement and the Children’s Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services for further investigation. The WSD Board of Education has accepted her resignation in lieu of termination. The District will continue to deal with this personnel matter in accordance with District policy and state law to ensure the protection of our students, which is always of the highest priority in all of our schools.
