Kohl's Employee Charged with Stealing

Former employee had been placed on probation on another charge days before one incident.

A man on probation for burglary was charged Thursday with misdemeanor stealing from in Wentzville.

Xavier O. White, 18, of Wentzville, was working for Kohl’s when he took clothing and shoes, according to a report. He entered a transaction of $90 on his register, leaving a total of $3.32. He then put the clothes and shoes in a bag behind his register and took them after his shift.

The store’s loss prevention supervisor told Wentzville Police he saw the incident on closed circuit television on Feb. 27. There were three separate stealing incidents, including one on March 10, according to the report.

White was placed on probation March 6 after he was found guilty of a July 14 burglary in Wentzville.
