Monday, August 26

  • An officer responded to the Main Marina on Rue Grand at 8:15 a.m. for a report of a Community Association employee being bitten by a dog.
  • At 11:07 a.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on the parking lot of SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. No injuries were reported.
  • At 12:26 p.m., a two-vehicle crash was reported on a parking lot in the 6300 block of Ronald Reagan Drive. No injuries were reported.
  • An officer responded to Ronald Reagan Drive for a report of shoplifting at 5:53 p.m. A 57-year-old female was issued a summons for shoplifting.
  • A two-vehicle crash was reported on Burgundy Drive at 6:45 p.m. No injuries were reported.
  • Officers responded to the 10th block of Breezy Knoll for a domestic assault. A 23-year-old female reported being assaulted by a 25-year-old male. No injuries were reported and the suspect had fled the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard near South Henke at 11:29 p.m. for driving on the wrong side of the road. A 17-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver's breath test registered .162 percent blood-alcohol content. 
Tuesday, August 27 
  • At 1:28 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. N at Glen Brook for speeding and failing to maintain a single lane. A 22-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated, persistent offender. The driver refused a breath test.
  • At 2:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to Abbotsford Court for the sudden death of a 74-year-old male from natural causes.
  • An officer responded to the 70th block of Woodlake Court to euthanize a sick raccoon that was unable to get out of a trash dumpster.
  • An officer responded to the 800 block of Robert Raymond for a report of a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • An officer responded to the 8000 block of Hwy. N at 8:16 p.m. for a report of property damage. A report was taken that an unidentified male in a maroon Jeep Wrangler threw a rock at the victim's windshield, breaking it. Damage was estimated at $500. Anyone with information should call the police department.
  • At 9 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Lakewood Drive for a report of a 29-year-old female who had attempted to harm herself. The subject was transported to the hospital for treatment.
