Lake Saint Louis Police Blotter: Man Pulled Over for Speeding on Interstate 70 Charged with DWI

DWI

  • On Wednesday, Feb. 13, a Lake Saint Louis Police Officer observed a vehicle speeding 74-mph in a 60-mph zone while driving on westbound Interstate 70. The Officer arrested a 36-year-old male driver for DWI (a felony offense for a persistent offender). The arrest occurred on westbound I-70 near the 213 mile marker. The male driver later refused to submit to a breath test.
  • On Wednesday, Feb. 13, Lake Saint Louis police officers responded to the 700 block of Lakeside Plaza for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival the officers determined that no one had been injured in the crash. Further investigation revealed that a 37-year-old male driver involved in the crash was intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for DWI. The driver later refused to submit to a chemical test.

  • On Wednesday, Feb. 13, a Lake Saint Louis officer responded to the 10th block of Lantern Lane for the report of a stolen vehicle just discovered.

Fraud

  • On Thursday, Feb. 14, a Lake Saint Louis officer responded to 200 Civic Center Drive (Lake Saint Louis Police Department) to contact a subject in reference to a possible Fraud.
