Wednesday, September 11

  • At 1:56 a.m., officers were processing the release of a 22-year-old male prisoner when dispatch informed the officers that the subject had an active felony warrant out of Iowa County, Iowa Sheriff's Department. Officers are confirming extradition procedures.
  • An officer responded to Hwy. N near the eastbound I-64 ramp at 7:08 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • An officer responded to Lakeside Plaza at 9:23 a.m. for a report of fraud, passing bad checks.
  • An officer responded to the 200 block of Civic Center Drive at 9:38 a.. for a two-vehicle crash.
  • An 18-year-old male was arrested on an active warrant at 1:34 p.m. on Civic Center Drive.
  • An officer observed a subject at a business in the 8000 block of Hwy. N at 2:52 p.m.  The officer knew the subject to have an active warrant, and arrested the 18-year-old fugitive without incident.
  • An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of  Whitehills Court at 2:41 in reference to a stealing incident.
  • An officer made a traffic stop on Ronald Reagan Drive at 8:38 p.m. and issued summonses to a 23-year-old passenger for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, September 12
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop on Veterans Memorial Parkway at Bayside Court at 12:39 a.m. for failure to maintain a single lane. A 27-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated, persistent offender and driving while revoked. The driver refused a breath test.
  • At 3:17 a.m., a 32 year-old male was arrested on I-70 for driving while intoxicated.
  • An officer responded to the 1100 block of Charlemagne Drive at 8:49 a.m. for a report of a burglary overnight.
  • An officer responded to the intersection of Robert Raymond Drive and Ronald Reagan Drive at 3:42 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • A juvenile was involved in an accident report on Hwy. N at 4:46 p.m.
