Man Slammed Mother Against Concrete Wall, Police Say

Dalton O. Kingsley-Collins was also charged with possession of marijuana.

A 17-year-old St. Charles County man threw his mother into a concrete wall Jan. 20.

Dalton O. Kingsley-Collins, 17, of the 2600 block of Lenee Lane in unincorporated St. Charles County south of Wentzville, was charged Jan. 22 with third-degree domestic assault, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug-related items.

A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said witnesses verified that Kingsley-Collins threw his mother into a concrete wall and she fell on the floor. The deputy said his mother’s face was injured and swollen.

A search of the teen’s bedroom revealed marijuana and a scale with marijuana residue, according to the court documents. The deputy reported Kingsley-Collins admitted to smoking marijuana just before the officer’s arrival.

Bond for Kingsley-Collins was reduced to $5,000. He must continue drug treatment and submit to random drug tests.
