Police Blotter: More Stolen GPS Units, Good Samaritan at Schnuck's

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department for October 12 - 18.

October 12:

  • An officer responded to in reference to items stolen from a vehicle. Approximately $1,020 worth of items were taken. There are no leads at this time.
  • Two GPS units were stolen from a vehicle on Moorings Drive. The units were valued at $300 and $600.
  • Shoplifting was reported on Ronald Reagan Drive.
  • An officer responded to an assault at .

October 13:

  • There was a domestic incident on Little Piney Drive between husband and wife. No charges were filed.

  • No reports.

October 15:

  • During a traffic stop on Pleasant Meadow Drive for a lane violation, the male driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • Three female subjects were arrested for trying to shoplift $2,471.50 worth of merchandise from on Fountain Grass Drive.
  • A male driver was arrested for DWI on Hawk Ridge Trail. The driver refused to submit to a breath test.

October 16:

  • A purse and clothing were found on the front porch of a unit on San Souci.
  • There was a two-vehicle accident on the Lake Saint Louis/Highway 70 overpass. No injuries, property damage only.
  • A cell phone left in a bathroom on Lake Saint Louis was stolen. No suspects.

October 17:

  • An officer responded to Prospect Village Drive for a report of a stolen backflow valve to a sprinkler system. No leads.
  • Accidents occurred on Highway N and I-70.

October 18:

  • Accidents occurred on Highway N and Hawk Ridge Trail.
  • An officer responded to the lobby of the police department in reference to a fraud case that is currently under investigation.
  • A wallet was reported stolen from . The wallet was later found in a cart by a store employee. It was returned to the owner, who reported no items were missing from the wallet.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported on Cognac Drive. Police are awaiting a subpoena for additional information.
  • There was a verbal domestic incident on Waler Drive. No charges.
