Police Blotter: Bomb Squad Called to Remove Old Smoke Grenades Found in Lake

Harassment 
  • Police responded to the 10th block of Marche for a report of harassment.

Found Property
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer responded to the 10th block of Harbor Point Court in reference to possible military explosives being found in the lake near the rear of the 10th block of Royale Court Items turned out to be old smoke grenades. St. Charles County Bomb and Arson officers arrived on scene and removed the found items.

Leaving the Scene
  • Police responded to the north commuter lot for an accident where a parked vehicle was struck and the suspect vehicle left the scene—no injuries.
