Police Blotter: Driver Hits McDonalds Sign, Flees the Scene

Fraudulent Use of Credit Card

  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer responded to Civic Center Drive and investigated fraudulent credit card activity.
  • Police were dispatched to 200 Civic Center Drive in reference to a report of fraudulent use of a credit card.
  • Police were dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to a report a fraud. Fraudulent charges made at Home Depot using victim's credit card.

Possession

  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lake St Louis Blvd and Flagstone for a vehicle registration violation. During the traffic stop the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia. An 18-year-old male was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ronald Reagan Drive near Robert Raymond Drive. A 19-year-old male passenger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and another 19-year-old male passenger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

  • An unknown vehicle struck the "Open 24 Hours" entrance sign at McDonalds, located at 885 Robert Raymond Drive.

Stealing

  • Police responded to the 400 block of Charlemagne Drive for the report of a an item stolen from on top of mail box on April 6.

Property Damage

  • Police responded to 760-770 Lakeside Plaza (Heroes) for the report of property damage. Both doors to business appeared to have been damaged.
