Police Blotter: Driver Picks Up 4th DWI After Being Caught Speeding

The following information was supplied by the Lake Saint Louis Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

DWI

  • While conducting a DWI Saturation Patrol as part of the St. Charles County Multi-Jurisdictional DUI Task Force on June 16, police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on South Outer 364 and Highway K in O’Fallon. A 50-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other traffic offenses.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding 94-mph in a 65-mph zone on eastbound I-64 near Hwy N. The officer arrested the 30-year-old male driver for driving while intoxicated (Aggravated Offender 4th subsequent offense). The driver later refused to submit to chemical testing

Identity Theft
  • Subject responded to the police department to report identity theft. The subject was advised of numerous credit card accounts that were opened by utilizing her identity.
Stealing
  • Police responded to Walmart at 6100 Ronald Reagan Drive, in reference to two female subjects being detained by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention for shoplifting. One 18 year old female was issued a summons forStealing/Shoplifting and released from the scene on summons.
