Police Blotter: Hit and Run on South Charlemagne

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department, July 6 - July 12.

July 6:

  • An unlocked vehicle was broken into on Charlemagne Drive, and there were thefts from two others in the same area.
  • There was an accident on Harbor Bend Court.
  • A window was broken by a mower on Lantern Lane.
  • An accident occurred on Ronald Reagan Drive.

July 7:

  • A subject reported a family member for assault on North Fox Hound Drive, and police are still investigating.
  • There was a domestic assault on Lantern Lane.
  • A larceny was reported on Whitehills Court.
  • Police responded to Savoy Drive for a report of a victim being attacked by a canine. The dog was taken by animal control.

July 8:

  • Items were stolen from a building on Cedar Run Lane.

July 9:

  • A home owner reported that $1,700 worth of personal property was stolen from a residence on Ampere Place.
  • Fraud was reported on Normandy Drive.

July 10:

  • Police were called to an accident on Veterans Memorial Parkway at Gascony Drive.
  • A burglary was reported on Chantilly Court.
  • An accident occurred on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.
  • An officer responded to Hunter Lane for a report of a dog bite. It was determined to be an accident, and no charges were made.
  • An abandoned vehicle was towed from westbound Interstate 70.

July 11:

  • A pedestrian was struck on South Charlemagne Drive, and the vehicle left the scene of the accident. The vehicle and driver were later found on Charlemagne Drive, and the driver was arrested for careless and imprudent driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated. The driver's blood alcohol content measured at .165%. The victim had only minor, non-life threatening injuries.
  • There was a report of shoplifting on Fountain Grass Drive.

July 12:

  • A male subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Waterford Villas Drive.
  • An officer responded to Oak Place in reference to a subject who had possibly overdosed on prescription medication.
  • There was a domestic incident on Cedar Run Lane. No charges filed.
