Police Blotter: Man With BAC More Than Twice the Legal Limit Arrested for DWI, Drug Possession

The following information was supplied by the Lake Saint Louis Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Vandalism

  • Police responded to the 400 block of Fox Trail Drive in reference to a damaged mailbox. After investigating at the scene, it was determined that the mailbox was not damaged, however, it had been pushed over by unknown subjects.
Stealing
  • Lake Saint Louis Police responded to Von Maur at 2 Fountain Grass Drive on May 11 in reference to a female being detained by store security for shoplifting. A 51-year-old female stole a pair of earrings valued at $28. The earrings were recovered by store security and the female was issued a summons and released from the scene.
DWI
  • On Saturday, May 11 a Lake St. Louis Police Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding 81-mph in a 60-mph zone on westbound Interstate 70 near the 213 mile marker. The officer arrested a 21-year-old male for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver’s blood alcohol content was later measured at .173 percent BAC.
