Police Blotter: Two Separate Reports of Child Abuse

Calls to the Lake Saint Louis Police Department, Aug. 24 - Aug. 30.

August 24:

  • There was a minor assault between two subjects on Highway N.
  • Two bikes were left unattended in the Walmart parking lot on Ronald Reagan Drive for 7 days.
  • There was a two-vehicle accident on Highway N with only one minor injury.

August 25:

  • Police took a report on Charlemagne Drive of someone trying to make a purchase using a stolen credit card.
  • An accident occurred on Charlemagne Drive, no injuries reported.
  • An accident with minor injuries occurred on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard at Highway N.
  • An abuse of a child was reported on Hickory Glen Court.
  • Two subjects, one male and one female, were issued summonses for domestic assault on Rue De Paix.

August 26:

  • There was property damage reported on Forest Crest.
  • A domestic assault was reported on Woodchuck Lane.
  • Involuntary commitment: An officer responded to a call on Innovation Circle (NISC) about a confused female subject. It was reported that in the past she had shown up in the same condition, but was not employed (past or present) by the company.

August 27:

  • There was an accident involving a rolled-over vehicle on I-64. No injuries were reported.

August 28:

  • Property damage was reported on Northmoor Circle.
  • Bicycles were reported stolen on Robert Raymond Drive.

August 29:

  • There was a report on Distinction Drive of two vehicles that had been entered by unknown subjects. The cars were left unlocked, and the subjects had gotten to them through an open garage door.
  • An accident was reported on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.
  • Items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on Distinction Drive.
  • Several catalytic converters were cut off of vehicles parked at Climate Controlled Storage on Feise Commerical Drive.
  • There was an assault reported on Cedar Bluff Drive. All parties involved refused prosecution.
  • Officers met with a party on Rue De Paix regarding suspicious e-mail messages they were receiving.
  • Abuse of child was reported on Woodlake Court.

August 30:

  • There was an accident on I-70.
  • A vehicle struck a gate on Ronald Reagan Drive.
  • Equipment was stolen from a home on Shire Drive which is under going construction.
  • A subject who was attempting to steal items from Walmart on Ronald Reagan Drive fled after dropping the items, which store security reclaimed. The suspect was later stopped and arrested for shoplifting and felony warrants in Florida.
  • There was a domestic assault on Saybridge Manor Parkway involving a stepfather and son. No physical injuries were reported. The stepfather was issued a summons for domestic assault.
