Police Blotter: Wedding Ring Stolen During Burglary

Domestic

• Police responded to the 800 Block of Waler Drive for the report of a verbal domestic. Upon arrival police made contact with two subject. The female subject wanted to leave the residence for the evening, but was unable to because the male subject was hiding her car keys and purse. Both items were returned by the male subject and the female subject left the residence for the evening without further incident.
• Lake St. Louis police officers responded to the 700 block of Waler Drive on May 1 for a report of a domestic assault. The officers determined that a minor assault had occurred when a 48-year-old female struck a 50-year-old male in the hand. There were no injuries observed or reported. The report was referred to the prosecuting attorney for further review.

Stealing

• Lake Saint Louis Police Officer investigated a larceny from a residence on Flintshire Lane. A wedding ring, valued at $850, was stolen. Three male suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.
• Police responded to the area of Fountain Grass Drive for a report of a shoplifting offense that had occurred. An 18-year-old female was charged with shoplifting as a result of the investigation.
