Second Trip Into Store Lands Shoplifter in Jail, Police Say

Wentville Police said Jean Marie Stussie stole items valued at $590 from the Wentzville Walmart, then went back in the store and attempted to steal additional items.

After putting $590 in stolen items into her car at the Wentzville Walmart, a woman returned to the store and attempted to steal an additional $94 in items, police said.

Wentzville Police said when Stussie exited the store the second time, she was confronted by a loss prevention officer, and left her items behind. Police found her on the parking lot, arrested Stussie and recovered previously stolen items from her car.
