I am really looking forward to a follow up on this. Somebody shoots a gun in a barber shop, gets in their car and drives to the police station? There's got to be more to this story. Speculation runs rampant!

Dear Karla. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I know when we went through something similar withRead More our cat, who had been with my wife for 19 years, it was like we'd been hit by a truck. I didn't expect to be affected as much as I was. Sorry this isn't a doggie memory...we're cat people, but the feeling is the same.

Thanks, Kurt - I really appreciate your post. Thankfully, I still have 3 cats and another dog atRead More home to help ease the pain. I agree with what what you said about being hit by a truck. I, too, didn't expect to be affected as much as I was - especially since I knew she was "elderly" for a dog. :)
