UPDATE: Six Von Maur Robbery Suspects Charged with Felony Stealing, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
More information has bee released on the six suspects who led police on two separate car chases, one of which ended with a crash in West St. Louis County.
Six suspects have been charged with felony stealing, strong armed robbery, assault on a law enforcement officer, assault and property damage after an incident Friday at the Von Maur store in the Meadows.
UPDATE: The six suspects arrested were:
- Alkeisha Weatherford, 19, of Cedar Hill
- Chaquita Bartee, 19, of the 4900 block of Harney Ave. in St. Louis
- Adrianna Gibson-Bey, 19, of the 4900 block of San Francisco in St. Louis
- Tianna Slayton, 18, of the 4900 block of Harney Ave. in St. Louis (same address as Bartee)
- Norris Douglas, 20, of the 2200 block of Kerwin Drive in Moline Acres
- Calvin Barnes, 20, of the 3300 block of Arlington Ave. in St. Louis
The Lake Saint Louis Police Department issued a press release stating that they received a report Friday afternoon that six suspects in a series of ongoing stealing cases in the City of Lake Saint Louis were recognized at Von Maur.

UPDATE: Police said in the report that Barnes assaulted two Von Maur employees who tried to prevent the theft. One employee's ankle was broken.
When police arrived at the business, the six subjects fled the store.

The suspects then fled the scene in two vehicles, one of which struck a Lake Saint Louis police car.
UPDATE: Douglas drove the car that struck the police car.
Town and Country-Manchester Patch picked up the story in West St. Louis County, where one of the suspect cars overturned after a police chase. One of the suspects fled the scene and tried to steal a car from a motorist stopped in traffic. He was Tasered and apprehended by police.
UPDATE: Bartee drove the car and led officers on a chase down I-64 and eventually overturned onto the concrete median on I-64.
“Apprehension of these suspects may solve multiple cases in surrounding jurisdictions, “ said Lake Saint Louis Police Chief Force. “I am glad we were able to take the suspects into custody before they were able to victimize more businesses and our citizens.”
Additional charges may be filed upon further review of the case, Force said.
