Six Year-Old from Wentzville Among Injured in I-64 Crash

The driver lost control and hit a sign and a tree late Saturday.

A one-car crash on Interstate 64 Saturday night injured the driver and three occupants of the car, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

A 2009 Nissan Armada driven by Johnson Do, 38, of Wentzville, was eastbound on I-64 west of Research Park.

At 10:18 p.m., the driver lost control of the SUV and ran off the right side of the roadway. The car then struck a speed limit sign and a tree.

Do and a passenger, Ahn H. Phan, 28, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Two other occupants, Cici Doan, 33, of Wentzville, and Travis Doan, 6, also of Wentzville, received minor injuries.

All of the car's occupants were transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

According to the Highway Patrol, the three adults were wearing safety devices, but the child was not.
