Three Injured in Crash Monday

Wentzville, Defiance residents hurt.

Two  residents were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the accident occurred at 11:17 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14.

A 1999 Toyota Sienna driven by John J. Irving, 38, St. Charles, was stopped at a stop sign on the westbound North Outer Road 94, west of Highway 94. A 1996 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by Steven E. Marshall, 49, Defiance, failed to notice the Sienna had stopped and struck the rear of the Toyota.

Three of Marshall's passengers were injured in the crash. Gabe C. Holt, 3, Wentzville, Kathleen N. Killian, 52, Wentzville, and Marla J. Marshall, 51, Defiance, sustained minor injuries.  

All three were taken to by St. Charles County Ambulance.

All five people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, according to the report
