The women were among five arrested after fleeing the Von Maur store in the Meadows.

Two women charged with stealing from a Lake Saint Louis store now face charges for stealing more than $2,100 in clothes from Mid Rivers Mall.

Alkeisha Weatherford, 19, of Cedar Hill, and Tianna Slayton, 18, of the city of St. Louis, each were charged Wednesday with two counts of felony theft.

St. Peters Police said the two stole Polo jeans and Polo shirts valued at $1,200 from Dillards and several women’s North Face fleece jackets valued at $960 from Sports Authority.

The two women were among five people charged Nov. 19 with felony stealing, strong armed robbery, assault on a law enforcement officer, assault and property damage after thefts at the Von Maur store in the Meadows in Lake Saint Louis.

Weatherford told police she would give the clothing to an unidentified man, who would give her a portion of the profits after selling the clothes on the street.

Bail was set at $3,000 each, cash only, for Weatherford and Slayton.

Boy, I bet SPPD is excited to know they are about to join STL in the crime department. I guess that's why the voters of St Charles voted for a county police department. Diversity is coming!
