Two Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Wentzville woman and a St. Charles man were injured Friday when a vehicle turned into their path.

A Wentzville woman and a St. Charles man were seriously injured about 8 p.m. Friday when a Jeep Cherokee pulled into the path of their motorcycle, according the the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ryan J. Stromberg, 18, of Dardenne Prairie, was eastbound on Highway 94 near the South Outer Road when he made a left turn. The 2009 Honda motorcycle, driven by Joshua R. Sides, 27, of St. Charles, was westbound on Highway 94, and struck the side of the Cherokee.

Sides and Ellen E. Murray, 30, of Wentzville, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.

Stromberg was uninjured.

Murray was wearing a helmet. Sides was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
