Jeff L. Wilson, 50, of Wentzville, died days after sustaining serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 61 at the Interstate 70 exit.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Wilson succumbed to his injuries at Barnes-Jewish Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 10.

According to the MSHP, the accident occurred at 9:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6.
Jeff L. Wilson, 50, Wentzville, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer eastbound on the ramp from southbound Highway 61 to Interstate 70. The Explorer traveled off the left side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment and overturned.

Wilson was ejected from his vehicle. He was taken to by St. Charles County Ambulance. He was then transferred to Barnes-Jewish Hospital with serious injuries.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
