Update: Four Men Accompanied Clark to Lake Saint Louis Shooting, Police Say

Lake Saint Louis Police said one of the men provided Clark with the .25 cal gun.

A 19-year-old Wentzville man was charged with firing four shots through a sliding glass door as three children sat on a couch 10 feet away from the door.

Lake Saint Louis Police reported that Lamon Clark, 19, of the 1400 block of Kathleen Drive, went to the home with four other men June 30 to shoot a man who assaulted his brother at a party in Moscow Mills the

Police said in a report that Clark was given a .25 cal handgun by one of the men, identified in a probable cause statement as “Lil Steve.” He had another man, Jarred McGersky, drive them to the home on Normandy Court in Lake Saint Louis, according to court documents.

Clark fired at least four shots through a sliding glass door. Children ages 8, 10 and 12 were sitting on a nearby couch.

Clark was charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and three counts of endangering a child.

Police said in the report that McGersky told them Clark said he was mad because there were people in the home, but he didn’t think his intended victim was there.

Clark also told police that one of the men threw the gun into the Missouri River.

Bond for Clark was set at $50,000, cash only.
